APPLICATION FOR ENROLMENT

PREP INTAKE TABLE.jpg

Admission to our two Preparatory classes is open to those children who will have attained the age of five (5) years by June 30 of the year they start Prep. Enrolment into other year levels is dependent upon vacancies existing at the time of the application.  All enrolments are considered using Catholic Educations ‘Enrolment Policy’.

  • A copy of the child's Birth Certificate must be provided at the time of enrolment.

  • Enrolment at St. Peter's implies that parents want their child/ren to be educated in a faith community which sees Christ and His values and teaching as central to the whole curriculum.

  • Parents enrolling a child at St. Peter's are expected to be familiar with the Mission Statement and to uphold its values.

  • Children with significant educational adjustments will be considered for enrolment according to the Diocesan enrolment application procedures. Part of the procedure is to determine if the school is able to cater adequately for their needs and the needs of the children in associated classes.

Each family has an obligation to support the school in its endeavours and to meet the financial commitments discussed at the time of enrolment.

PREP ENROLMENT PROCESS

The prep enrolment process begins with the parent/guardian completing an expression of interest at least 18 months prior to their child commencing prep. During Term 2 (in the year prior to your child commencing prep), parents/guardians will be notified of a timeline in preparation of enrolment. In July, the school will hold an information afternoon, followed by interviews (where enrolment applications are due) in July/August. Letters of offer will be sent to successful applicants during August/September.
